What you'll experience.
In this tour you will be wet suit snorkeling in Iceland, in the crystal clear waters of Silfra which has become one of the top diving and snorkeling sites in the world. The difference between snorkeling in a wet suit and a dry suit is that in a wet suit you can dive and explore the underworld easily, whereas the dry suit will keep you afloat. The wet suit will cover your whole body but will not protect you entirely from the cold water. Even so we highly recommend that you try it, you won’t regret it!
Our partners at Adventure Vikings are the only snorkeling company in Iceland that offers wet suit snorkeling and promise you that this is by far the best way to snorkel. No diving licence is needed. What makes snorkeling in Silfra so unique besides the clear blue water is the fact that you are actually snorkeling between two continents; Europe and America.
Silfra is a freshwater fissure located in the Þingvellir national park and was created by the continental plates drifting apart. The water there is so pristine that snorkeling feels more like flying.
No diving experience is needed for this amazing activity and all necessary equipment is provided.
This is one activity you’ll want to include to your adventure so book your wet suit snorkeling tour in Iceland today!
