What you'll experience.

Join an exhilarating snowmobile tour on Mýrdalsjökull glacier!

South Iceland holds many of the most iconic attractions in Iceland but nothing is quite like experiencing it from the top of a glacier. In this tour you will rush across the vast wilderness of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and to the very top.

This enormous ice cap glacier covers one of Iceland’s largest volcano, Katla. From the glacier you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views over the coast of South Iceland.

The snowmobile tour is perfect for those who are looking to combine amazing sceneries with an exciting, adventurous snowmobile ride. The tour starts with a short briefing at the main base where you will also gear up for your ride. Next you will board a real glacier truck which will transport you to the glacier and the location of the snowmobiles.

The duration of the tour is about two hours of which you will spend just over an hour on the glacier itself. There is no experience required so the tour is suitable for first time riders. This snowmobile adventure tour on Mýrdalsjökull glacier will give you an opportunity to photograph and film the scenery and the nature, we therefore recommend that you bring your camera with you.

Please note that you will need a valid driver’s license to drive a snowmobile.
