What you'll experience.

Dry suit snorkeling in Silfra is becoming one of the most popular activities in Iceland. In this tour you will be snorkeling the crystal clear waters in a dry suit. By snorkeling in a dry suit you will be protected from the cold water as the dry suit is constructed from layers of insulating fabric.

However, during summer, we always recommend that choosing the wet suit as it gives more freedom to dive and explore the underworld of Silfra.

What makes snorkeling in Silfra so unique besides the clear blue water is the fact that you are actually snorkeling between two continents; Europe and North America. Silfra is a freshwater fissure located in the Þingvellir national park and was created by the continental plates drifting apart. The water there is so pristine that snorkeling feels more like flying.

No diving experience is needed for this amazing activity and all necessary equipment is provided.

Please note that participant must be able to swim. They must also weigh at least 50 kg (110 lbs) and be at least 150 cm (4’10) tall.

This tour is not suitable for pregnant women.
